Vietnam International Communications Summit & Expo 2011 (Vietnam Comm 2011) / Vietnam International Internet & IT Exhibition 2011 (Vietnam Internet & IT 2011) / International Exhibition on Electronics Products in Vietnam 2011 (Vietnam Electronics 2011) were held successfully at the Vietnam Exhibition & Fair Centre (VEFAC), Hanoi, during November 16-19, 2011. The trio expos gathered 140 exhibitors from 15 countries/regions including Australia, Canada, France, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, PR China, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, USA and Vietnam, demonstrated cutting edge products and business solutions which best fit the development need of Vietnam ICT and electronics market. The 4-day exhibition attracted 15,228 visitors and provided opportunities for professionals in the telecommunications, Internet, ICT, electronics industries and corporate users, such as in the government, banking and finance, to explore countless business opportunities in fast-growing Vietnam market.

Renowned Government Representatives, Leading Telecom Operators, Brands Attended the Most Influential ICT events in Vientam

A number of key representatives attended the trio-expos and summit, including Dr. Do Trung Ta, Prime Minister's Envoy, Chairman of the National Policy Council on Science & Technology, Deputy Director of National Steering Committee on ICT of Vietnam, Mr Nguyen Bac Son, Minister of Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), Mr Nguyen Minh Hong, Vice Minister of Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), the government officials and representatives from Cambodia and Laos, plus the senior management from local telecom operators including Mobifone, Vinaphone and VNPT, which reflected the authoritative status and significance of the trio expos in Vietnam and regions. Well-known corporations such as Dynamic, Huawei, JDSU, Radio Frequency Systems, VTC, Yahoo and ZTE exhibited the cutting-edge products and technologies including Solutions for Telecom Network, Enterprises and Consumers; Fibre-Optic Communications; and Electronic Manufacturing, etc. In addition, there are more than 35 first-time exhibitors showcased their latest products.

High-Level Summit to Provide Perfect Platform for In-depth Industry Exchange

The High-level summit received overwhelming response from industry professionals and achieved a record-breaking attendance with 658 audiences at the 2-day summit. The organizers were honored to receive active participation from governmental representatives and industrial experts. Star speakers from MIC, MOET, Ministry of Health, VNPT, BTI Systems, Cisco, Ericsson, Huawei, Mitsubishi, Nokia Siemens Network, NTT DOCOMO, Orange France Telecom, TIMWE, Yahoo, ZTE and many more shared their valuable ideas and knowledge on hot topics in ICT industry.

Panel Discussion was first introduced in the summit. Mr. Bui Quoc Viet - Director of the Information and Public Relations Center, VNPT was the moderator of this session. While Mr. Vu Hoang Lien, Chairman of Vietnam Internet Association (VIA), Mr. Le Van Tuan, Deputy General Director, Authority of Frequency Management, Mr. Mike MacDonald, CTO, Huawei Southeast Asia Region, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., Mr. Bruno Bourgin, Head of International Development Africa, Middle East & Asia, Orange France Telecom were the panel guests to share their views on 3G and 4G market development.

The summit and panel discussion were considered as the best professional ICT conferences in Vietnam. The overall audience responses were very positive and encouraging - over 93% of audience was pleased about the overall arrangement of the summit. Over 90% of audience was highly satisfied with the quality of presentations; over 92% audience was highly contented with the rundown of the summit. Audience expected the organizers would excel themselves and hold a more successful summit in 2012.

Great Satisfaction from Exhibitors and Visitors

To maximize the participation effectiveness of the exhibitors, the organizers provided business consultancy service at the fairground, which was much welcomed and utilized by the exhibitors.

Exhibitors and visitors highly recognized the trio expos as an effective platform to get business contacts and orders. Most of the visitors are operators, corporate users, ICT traders, distributors, and IT professionals. Over 80% of visitors indicated that they achieved the objectives of visiting the trio expos, which included: to gather overseas product information, to get the latest information of ICT / electronic industry and to meet suppliers and potential buyers. And their top interested products included "Mobile / Wireless, 3G, 4G, LTE", "Internet / IP Services", " Modern Enterprise Communications (Wifi/ Wimax, VOIP, Bluetooth, Video Conference, Unified Communications, VPN etc.) , Personal Digital & Accessories, Software, Hardware & Data Security, etc. , which were easily to be found at the fairground. A visitor, Mr Phi Dang Doan, Purchasing Supervisor of Nokia Siemens Ltd said, "I am interested in telecom products, antenna, cable and can find right exhibitors at the exhibition. I visited past exhibitions and will continue to visit this exhibition in future."

Most visitors were contented with the quality of exhibitors, quality of exhibits and visitor services. Mr Nguyen The Quyen, Manager of a Telecom Retailer said, "The exhibition was well-organized, and the services delivered by the organizer was excellent. I definitely will visit the next Vietnam Comm show." Besides, Ms Ngo Dong Quynh, Department Head of Co Phan Dich Vu Buu Chinh Vien Thong Saigon (SPT) said, "I can see lots of big exhibitors here!" She praised the services provided by organizer was excellent and has made plan for her next visit. Exhibitors also showed appreciation to the exhibition. Ms Cham Anh Ta, Manager of IPNET said, "Thank you for the good services which effectively attract potential customers for us.". Ms Angel Choi, Assistant Marketing Director of Dynamic Technologies Services Ltd., complimented the efficiency and quick responsiveness of the organizer.
