Cross-Border Summit on ICT Hot Topics at Vietnam Comm 07

In September this year, numerous well-known international corporations will congregate in Hanoi, Vietnam to participate a significant ICT Festival - Vietnam International Communications Summit & Expo (also known as "Vietnam Comm 07"). It is an official telecom show sponsored by the Ministry of Posts & Telematics (MPT) and jointly organized by Vietnam Posts & Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. Vietnam Comm 07 aims at providing a gateway for international and domestic ICT professionals, not only to explore infinite business opportunities in one of the world's fastest growing ICT market but also to share on various ICT hot topics and cross-border business development experience particularly on convergence development.
The concurrent summit is a crucial part of Vietnam Comm 07. Seizing the immense opportunities deriving from Vietnam's entry to the WTO, over 20 renowned international corporations will participate in the 2-day summit for high-level information and experience exchange under the main theme of "Business Opportunities in Mobile & Wireless Industry post-WTO" and "ICT Development - Convergence". Representatives from MPT and VNPT will present the overview of Vietnam ICT market, topics include "Vietnam Wireless-Mobile Communications Development", "Mobile Services Opportunities" and "Vietnam ICT Development: Today & Tomorrow". Following that will be various ICT hot topics such as Wireless Convergence, Next Generation Services Providers, Future Broadband, IPTV, 2G to 3G Migration, IP Network, NGN, WiMAX, Network Solutions and IT Applications addressed by well-known global enterprises including Alcatel-Lucent, Blue Coat, Cisco, Comtech, Datang, Motorola, Nokia Siemens Network, NTT DoCoMo, Orange-part of the France Telecom Group, PCCW Global, Qualcomm, UTStarcom, Viettel, ZTE, etc.
Besides, breakthrough of this year summit is cross-border experience sharing between Vietnam, China and Hong Kong SAR. The experience sharing section lines up the relating authorities and associations to enhance technology exchange and business cooperation of the three places. ICT professionals from the 3 regions will congregate to share topics chiefly concern by both local enterprises and foreign investors such as the "Application of IT in Vietnam ICT Industry", "Development of a Healthy ICT Environment", "Development of 3G Standard", "Building a Platform for Value-added Services in Managed Network" and the "Implementation of IT in Telecom: CRM, ERP, Billing System, etc." Both experience sharing and case studies undoubtedly help to make the summit more comprehensive.
