Enterprises Show Off their Latest ICT Technologies to
Compete for the Golden Cup Awards at Vietnam Comm 07 |

To recognize excellence and innovation in the application and development of wireless communications, Golden Cup Awards Competition, organized by Vietnam Comm 07, are now open for entries. Presentation Ceremony will be taken place at the Vietnam International Communications Summit & Expo (also known as "Vietnam Comm 07"), the largest ICT expo in Vietnam. Closing date for the enrollment is 20th August, 2007.
As the largest and most significant ICT event in Vietnam, Vietnam Comm 07, will be staged in Hanoi - Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Centre (VEFAC), during 19 - 22 September, 2007. Vietnam Comm 07 is the official telecom show in Vietnam sponsored by the Ministry of Posts & Telematics (MPT) and jointly organized by Vietnam Posts & Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. Vietnam Comm 07 aims at providing a gateway for international and domestic ICT professionals, not only to explore infinite business opportunities in one of the world's fastest growing ICT market but also to share cross-border technical achievement and innovation.
As a token of appreciation to the exhibitors' outstanding performance and their contribution to the ICT industry, Golden Cup Awards will be presented to the exhibitors who have showcased their latest wireless communications products, services or technologies with significant impact to the industry. The judging panel will be formed by 20 ICT experts. The Awards comprise two award categories, including "NGN Equipment" and "Systems & Services for 3G". The judging criteria include level of technological innovation and service quality together with level of capacity and efficiency enhancement. Last but not the least, benefits of such initiative bring to end users is one of the judging criteria as well.
Organizers of Vietnam Comm 07 believe that the presentation of Golden Cup Awards can highlight the importance of technological evaluation in Vietnam so as to encourage the development of more ICT solutions and the overall industry growth. These special technical awards are expected to be one of the focal points of Vietnam Comm 07 as well as the hottest issue in Vietnam's ICT industry.
Vietnam Comm 07 will occupy an exhibition area of 6,000 sq.m. with over 170 exhibitors from 15 countries or regions including Australia, China, France, Hong Kong SAR, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, UK, USA, Vietnam, etc. The organizers are honored to have "Diamond Sponsors" from Cisco, SK Telecom and Viettel, "Banquet Sponsor" from Orange-part of the France Telecom Group, "Gold Sponsors" from NTT DoCoMo, UTStarcom and ZTE. Exhibits of this year Expo cover a large range of high-end ICT products and technologies including 3G, broadband, wireless & mobile communications, enterprise system, ICC, infrastructure solutions, IP & network technology, NGN, satellite, security, VoIP, Wi-Fi and WiMAX, etc. Some exhibitors even highlighted their products such as DVB-H system, satellite communication, routers, switches, celltrek and broadband equipments, etc. which are their first presence to Vietnam ICT market. Besides, high-level summit will be arranged concurrently to encourage information exchange and cross-regional business cooperation among ICT professionals. Numerous ICT hot topics will be discussed under the main theme of "Business Opportunities in Mobile & Wireless Industry post-WTO" and "ICT Development - Convergence".
